Ingredients
- 1 cup Rava/Suji/Semolina
- 1/2 cup + 2 tbsp sugar
- 2 1/2 tbsp of milk
- 3/4 tsp cardamom powder
- 3 tbsp ghee
- 10 Cashews chopped
Method
1. Heat a pan and add 2 tablespoons of ghee.
2. Add the chopped cashews and roast till slightly golden. Remove the cashews and keep aside.
3. To the same pan, add 1 cup of rava and roast until slightly golden. Remove from heat.
4. In a mixer jar, grind sugar to get it powdered. To this add the roasted rava and 3/4 tsp of cardomom powder and just give it few pulses(to combine everything well).
5. Transfer to a bowl. Add 1 tbsp of ghee and the roasted cashews. Add milk and combine.
6. When it is still warm, make round laddu balls with your palm.
Notes
You can add raisins also.
Adjust sweetness as per your liking. You can add upto 1/2 to 3/4 cup of sugar.
Serves
With the above measurements, we can make 11-12 laddus.
