Ingredients
- 500grams minced beef (with atleast 15-20% fat)
- 2 inch piece ginger, chopped
- 8 garlic cloves,chopped
- 2 green chillies, chopped
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- Few coriander leaves
- Few mint leaves
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 1/2 tbsp coriander seeds or 1 tbsp coriander powder
- 1 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
- 1 1/2 tsp ghee
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- 2-3 tbsps oil
Method
In a large bowl, add 500 grams of minced beef.
Add the chopped ginger, garlic, green chillies, onion and coriander leaves.
Add garam masala, kashmiri chilli powder, coriander seeds/powder, cumin powder, ghee, lemon juice and Salt to taste.
Mix everything well using hands. Give it a few pulses using a food processor to combine everything well.
Grease a plate with some oil.
Dip your hand in water and take a big lemon sized ball from the mixture.
Work with your hand to form the sheekh shape and insert the skewer from bottom to top.
Heat 2-3 tbsps of oil in a pan and place the seekh.
Reduce the heat to medium.
Turn it every 2-3 minutes and repeat until all the sides are cooked well.
Serve hot with some green chutney.
