Ingredients
- 1 kg skinless chicken, medium/small cut
- 5 garlic cloves
- 2 inch piece ginger
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 onion, diced
- 3 green chilli
- 60g coriander, chopped
- 20g mint, chopped
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 cup water
- Juice of half lemon
- Salt
Method
1) Grind garlic cloves, ginger, tomato, onion, coriander leaves and mint leaves to fine paste.
2) Transfer to a wok along with 1 cup of water.
3) Add Chicken, turmeric powder, garam masala, lemon juice and salt. Give it a good mix.
4) Cover and cook for 20 mins in high heat.
5) Remove the lid and cook it further for 10 mins.
6) Serve hot with rice or roti
