{"id":1377,"date":"2021-12-20T15:27:16","date_gmt":"2021-12-20T15:27:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/foodtocherish.com\/?p=1377"},"modified":"2022-04-15T18:18:13","modified_gmt":"2022-04-15T18:18:13","slug":"spinach-paneer-kati-roll","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/foodtocherish.com\/?p=1377","title":{"rendered":"Spinach &#038; Paneer Kati Roll"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/08\/1628113718013.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1137\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ingredients\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2 handfuls of spinach<\/li><li>250g paneer diced<\/li><li>1 tsp cumin powder<\/li><li>3 garlic cloves, finely chopped<\/li><li>1\/2 cup water<\/li><li>1 tsp chilli flakes<\/li><li>3 tbs vegetable oil<\/li><li>2 eggs<\/li><li>Juice of 1 lemon<\/li><li>1 onion, diced and rubbed with salt, chilli powder and lemon juice<\/li><li>3 wholewheat tortillas<\/li><li>Salt to taste<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"method\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Fry 250g diced paneer in 2 tbs oil until golden brown. Remove from the pan and keep aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Puree spinach with 1\/2 cup of water. Keep aside. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To the same pan, add 3 finely chopped garlic cloves. Saute for a minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 1 tsp cumin powder and roast for 30 seconds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the pureed spinach along with 1 tsp chilli flakes and salt to taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cook until the water evaporates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add the fried paneer and mix gently to coat the paneer with the spinach mix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cook for 5 more minutes. Remove from the heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Crack open 2 eggs into a shallow and wide plate. Add salt to taste. Beat well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dip 3 tortillas, one at a time and let it soak the eggs for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Heat a pan. Add 1 tsp oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fry the tortilla on both side until the eggs are cooked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take one tortilla and spoon enough spinach and paneer mix into the centre. Add the onions. Squeeze some lemon juice. Sprinkle a pinch of salt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Roll the tortilla and serve hot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-4-3
