Add 1 tsp ghee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 1 ripe plantain cut into small pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 3 tbs jaggery. Mix until jaggery melts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 1\/2 cup poha\/flattened rice. Mix well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 1\/2 tsp cardamom powder and 1 cup fresh\/dessicated coconut. Mix well and cook for 2 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 5-6 chopped cashews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Remove from heat and allow to cool down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/07\/img_20210709_173926.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1112\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For the bun<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take 1\/2 cup + 2 tbs lukewarm water in a bowl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 2 tbs sugar and 3\/4 tsp instant yeast. Mix well. Add 1\/4 cup vegetable oil.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take 1 1\/2 cup wholewheat flour in a bowl. Add 1\/2 tsp salt and 1\/4 tsp baking powder. Mix well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add to the wet mixture. Mix well with a spatula. We will get a shaggy dough. Cover and rest for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/07\/img_20210709_173812.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1113\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Transfer to a work surface. Start kneading. Add 3 tbs wheat flour little at a time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Knead well for 8-10 minutes until you get a smooth dough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/07\/img_20210709_173847.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1114\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Transfer to a bowl and allow to proof for 1.5 to 2 hours or until doubled in volume.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/07\/img_20210709_173948.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1115\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Knead it again for a minute. Shape into a log and then divide into 8 equal portions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/07\/img_20210709_174007.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1116\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2021\/07\/img_20210709_174019.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1117\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Take one portion (keep the rest covered). Push the filling with your thumb while pleating. Remove the excess dough.
