{"id":1318,"date":"2021-12-20T13:59:56","date_gmt":"2021-12-20T13:59:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/foodtocherish.com\/?p=1318"},"modified":"2021-12-20T19:27:48","modified_gmt":"2021-12-20T19:27:48","slug":"cream-of-mushroom-soup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/foodtocherish.com\/?p=1318","title":{"rendered":"Cream of Mushroom soup"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ingredients\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>300g Mushroom sliced<\/li><li>1 tsp garlic paste<\/li><li>1 small onion chopped<\/li><li>1 tbsp celery chopped (optional)<\/li><li>2 tbsp spring onion chopped<\/li><li>1\/2 tsp black\/ white pepper powder<\/li><li>1 tbsp plain flour\/maida\/ all purpose flour<\/li><li>2 1\/2 cup boiling water<\/li><li>3\/4 cup or 150 ml single cream<\/li><li>1 tbsp butter<\/li><li>Salt to taste <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"method\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Heat 1 tbsp of butter in a pan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add garlic paste and onion and saute for a minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add chopped spring onion and celery. Saute for a minute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_20200821_234850.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-576\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Add sliced mushrooms and 1\/2 tsp pepper powder.  Mix well and cook until the mushrooms are soft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 1 tbsp of plain flour and stir to combine. Remove from heat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_20200821_234906.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-578\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_20200821_234926.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-577\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Allow it to cool down.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Transfer 3\/4th of the cooked mushrooms to a blender and puree it. Transfer back to the pan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_20200821_235001.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-580\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Add 2 1\/2 cups of boiling water. ( You can add vegetable\/chicken stock instead of water.) <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/08\/img_20200821_235019.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-579\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Once the mixture starts boiling, reduce the flame and add 3\/4 cup single cream.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mix well and simmer for a minute (Do not boil. )<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\"
