{"id":1306,"date":"2021-12-20T13:31:58","date_gmt":"2021-12-20T13:31:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/foodtocherish.com\/?p=1306"},"modified":"2021-12-20T19:35:50","modified_gmt":"2021-12-20T19:35:50","slug":"chicken-pizza","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/foodtocherish.com\/?p=1306","title":{"rendered":"Chicken Pizza"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"ingredients\">Ingredients<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For Pizza Dough<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>2 cups all purpose flour \/ maida <\/li><li>1 tsp sugar<\/li><li>1 tsp dry yeast \/ instant yeast<\/li><li>1\/2 cup lukewarm water<\/li><li>Salt to taste<\/li><li>3 tbsp olive oil<\/li><li>1-2 tbsps of water (or as required to knead)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For toppings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>6-8 tbsp pizza sauce<\/li><li>1\/2 cup bell peppers thinly sliced<\/li><li>1 cup grated Mozzarella cheese<\/li><li>1 cup boneless chicken diced<ul><li><strong>For frying chicken<\/strong><\/li><\/ul><ul><li>1 tbsp of olive oil<\/li><li>1\/2 tsp paprika\/kashmiri chilly powder<\/li><li>1\/2 tsp black pepper powder<\/li><li>Salt to taste<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>1\/4 cup olives<\/li><li>1 tsp oregano<\/li><li>1\/4 cup of diced chicken sausage(optional)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"method\">Method<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Dissolve 1 tsp of sugar and 1 tsp of yeast in 1\/2 cup of water. Keep it aside for 5 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200723_092926.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-456\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>2. On a flat surface make a well in the center of the flour.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Pour the water among melted yeast, add salt and oil, mix well and knead until the dough is smooth and elastic. Add water if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200723_093735.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-458\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Allow to prove for atleast 2 hours inside a covered container or until it has doubled in size.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200723_094854.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-457\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200723_121222.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-459\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Divide the dough into 2 portions and shape each portion to a ball.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Take one ball. Grease the pan and spread the dough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200723_121622.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-460\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Puncture the surface with a fork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200723_121659.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-461\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Season with the <a href=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/20\/pizzasauce\/\">pizza sauce <\/a>and leave to stand for about 20 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Bake the pizza in preheated oven at 200\u00b0C for 5-6 minutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200723_132157.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-463\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>10. In the meantime, marinate the chicken pieces with 1\/2 teaspoon of paprika \/ kashmiri chilly powder, 1\/2 black pepper powder and salt to taste.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>11. Heat a pan and fry chicken pieces until slightly golden. Keep it aside.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>12. Once the dough is half cooked, add grated mozzarella, fried chicken, sausages, bell peppers and olives. Sprinkle 1\/2 teaspoon of Oregano. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200724_140929.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-467\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>13. Bake the pizza again for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/20200723175749_img_4190.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-465\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>14. Slice and enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Repeat the same with the remaining dough.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"notes\">Notes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Use toppings of your choice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Use different colors of capsicum to make pizza more colourful.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Every oven is different and hence cooking time may vary slightly, so watch carefully.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can sprinkle some
