Mix everything well. Keep it aside for 5-10 minutes. The onion would release some water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200709_165001.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-342\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>3. Add the chickpea flour and the rice flour. Mix everything well to coat the onions with the flour. Add water if needed( Add little at a time, you might need 3-4  tablespoons of water).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200709_165716.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-343\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>4. Heat oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot enough reduce the heat to medium. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Drop one tablespoon of the pakoda mix. Do not add too many pakodas in the pan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6. Flip the pakodas occasionally for even frying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/foodtocherish.files.wordpress.com\/2020\/07\/img_20200709_172219.jpg?w=640\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-345\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>7. Fry till they turn crisp and golden. Remove the pakodas from the oil with a slotted spoon and drain on a kitchen paper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>8. Repeat the process with the remaining batter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>9. Serve hot with some green chutney or tomato sauce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"extra-tips\">Extra Tips<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can add coriander leaves or curry leaves as per your taste. If the rice flour is not available add chickpea flour instead. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rice flour helps to keep the pakodas crisp for longer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ingredients
